The “Dumebi” Crooner who released “Calm Down” February 11th 2022, announced in August the remix of the song but what we didn’t expect was his choice of his feature artist. Selena Gomez posted on her Instagram account on the 22nd of August that she would be the featured artist for Rema’s Calm Rmx.
The set date for release was 8th September which turns out to be today. The official music video dropped about 20 hours ago and it has 2.8 million views currently.
I love the new vibe introduced in the song especially how Selena gave our Afrobeats tone a chance, she did a great job in my opinion. Though the song has been criticized as others believe the song was better without the remix. Do you think it was a good duo or it just wasn’t a song that needed a collaboration?
