G’aza

Nigerian emerging artist, G’aza is set to release his 3rd single since 2022 on the 15th of January, 2024. “HOLD UP” which features Nigerian talented artist, Zilla Oaks, is a 2 minute, 41 seconds track that highlights the dark times Nigerians faced the END SARS protest and ultimately the Lekki Massacre on October 20th, 2020. This record took conscious efforts before its release as it reflects his (G’aza’s) contribution to the movement irrespective of his physical distance and Zilla Oaks featuring on this track as his allegiance to the movement that sought to limit Nigeria’s freedom of speech.

As an independent artist but under the management of Mo Management, G’aza prides “AFROFUTURISM” as his genre of music and in being “a shapeshifter” He says,

“Real life stories are the best in my experience. As long as it’s spontaneous, fluid and organic, I can be inspired by anything. lyrically, the aim is to tell a story, sonically it’s to create an experience.

Artistically, he draws inspiration from 2face idibia, Vector, Jesse Jagz, Wizkid, Mi abaga, Asa, Sasha P, 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Nelly etc. This Monday, we rave to a new hit by G’aza and Zilla Oaks.
