We just concluded the Headies Awards and another award ceremony is upon us! AFRIMMA (Africa Muzik Magazine Awards) commonly mistaken for AFRIMA( All African Music Awards) but we will be concentrating on AFRIMMA.
This awards is even more special as it’s target is to promote Africa music in diaspora. It was founded in 2014 at Eisseman Center,Dallas,Texas, USA.
This year’s 9th edition theme is titled “This is Africa” and will be held at Gilley’s , Dallas, Texas on the 19th of November 2022. Alongside the unveiling of its theme and venue, they have compiled this year’s nominations list and I will be listing out some of the categories and nominees.
Best Male West African Artist: Fireboy, Kidi music,Buju, Black Sheriff, Omah Lay, Oxlade, Didi B, Ruger, Samba Peuzzi.
Best Female West African Artist: Ammarae, Tems, Josey, Zeynab, Ayra Starr, Gyakie, Tiwa Savage, Roselyne Layo
